Well here we are this bunch of hopefuls - all gathered at Gainsborough United Reform Church - hopeful that is to meet more of you lovely readers.

Sharing tea and cake we pondered on writing, life, narrowboats, cats and the weather (of course - well we are British after all)
One question that came up which I keep thinking about is:
What is the collective name for a group of authors?
A pen? a quill? a chapter? (no that's Hell's Angels). Hmmm - looking at the picture - what do you think? 🤔
